Arlene R. Theriault of Fairhaven, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 23. Born in Acushnet, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jeanette (D'Loughy) Vieira. &Arlene worked in the activities department for Sippican Healthcare for many years and enjoyed doing activities and crafts with the residents. Arlene loved to knit and spend time at the beach. Her adventurous spirit filled her life and the lives of those around her. Arlene loved spending time with her family and friends. Arlene's smile could light up a room and she loved to laugh!

Arlene is survived by her two daughters, Tracey Arruda and her husband Steven of Fairhaven, MA. and Wendy Zona and her husband Thomas of Lincoln, RI. Arlene was "nana" to four grandchildren, Ray and Ashley Arruda and Emma and Ryan Gilbert and his wife Abby, and to 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Joanne Costa and her brother Kenneth L. Vieira and many cousins.
