NEW BEDFORD-Arnaldo Correia, 85, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion. He was the husband of the late Vitalia (Martins) Correia.

Arnaldo was born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal and was the owner/operator of the Campino Bar in the Southend of New Bedford and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

He loved to walk, animals, especially his dogs, Marley was his last.  He also enjoyed watching soccer and was a fan for Sporting FC.

He is survived by his children, Maria Branco and her companion AJ Oliveira of North Dartmouth and Richard Correia of New Bedford;  he was the father of the late Joe Correia;  also survived by 11 grandchildren, Julie Correia, Justina Steliga and her husband Daniel, Amy and Angela Correia, Brittany and Noah Branco, and Jordan, Colton, Kayleigh, Tanner and Avry Correia;  four great grandchildren, Spencer Correia and Remy, Rowan and Cade Lamarre;  he was the last of five children and was predeceased by Antonio, Jose Maria, Manuel and an infant boy;  also survived by several nieces and nephews.
