NEW BEDFORD-Beverly M. (Medeiros) Rogers, 87, of New Bedford passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.  She was the loving wife of the late Harry C. Rogers and loving mother of the late Gary Rogers.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Arthur E. Medeiros and the late Phoebe (Rogers) Medeiros Johnson and her late husband Benjamin Johnson, she was a lifelong resident of the city and former member of the International Church of the Nazarene.

Beverly and her husband were the proprietors of the former Homestead Boarding House in New Bedford for 26 years.

She is survived by her brother, Arthur E. Medeiros, Jr. and his wife Penny of New Bedford;  many nieces, nephews cousins and her extended Milbury family.

Her funeral service will be Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11AM in the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County Street, New Bedford.  Visitation will be from 10-11Am prior to the service.  Interment will be private.  For memorial register or facility directions please visit, www.newdayfunerals.com.
