Bonnie Lynn Cortes, 44, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 26, 2024. She was the loving mother of Paul DeMoranville.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sandra Lynn (Becht) Cortes. As a young child, Bonnie moved to New Bedford. She loved music, she was always out and about, she liked to keep a clean house and enjoyed coffee and cooking. Above all she was a loving mother.

In addition to her son, Bonnie is survived by her sisters, Patricia Becht and Sandra Cortes, and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents and her sister Nettie Becht.

A memorial service to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held privately.
