Brenda A. (Walker) Vezina, 63, of Plymouth passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.& She was the longtime companion of Fred Mirick.

Born in Gardena, California, daughter of the late Vernon and Jacqueline L. (Therrien) Walker, she grew up in New Bedford and settled in Plymouth 20 years ago. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and had worked in the insurance industry. Brenda enjoyed gardening, traveling and trips to Disney.

She is survived by her companion Fred; her children, Ian Vezina and Rochelle Leger; a sister, Debra Messier of Dartmouth and her daughter Jocelyn; a brother Tod Walker of Dartmouth and several grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10am in St. Joseph/St. Therese Church in New Bedford. Arrangements are by the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral care, 465 County St., New Bedford. For memorial register please visit, www.hathawayfunerals.com.
