NEW BEDFORD - Carol A. Botelho, 75, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026.

She was born in Brookline to the late Lawrence and Doris (Legere) Boswell. Carol worked for many years as a secretary. She loved spending time with grandkids and liked occasional trips to the casino.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years Robert Botelho; children Paul Demers and his wife Betty, Erin Coelho and her partner John Taylor, Greg Demers and his wife Sarah; brother Richard Boswell and his wife Geri; grandchildren Alexandra, Jillian, Benjamin, and Kerina; and great-grandchildren Mason, Noah, and Ayla.

In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brothers Ronald Boswell and Michael Boswell; stepson Robert Botelho Jr.; and grandson Samuel Demers.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the St. Michael's Unit at Sacred Heart Nursing Home for the care and attention they provided to Carol.
