Chani Leigh Leighton, 42, of Attleboro passed away August 22, 2026, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA.

 She was born in Attleboro; beloved daughter of Brad Leighton and Lisa Brady and her husband, Stephen Boyles.

Chani worked as an esthetician beginning right out of high school, building her career through dedicated work in her field. She leaves behind many longtime clients who she considered family. Chani loved music and concerts and enjoyed spending time at the beaches of southern Rhode Island and up in Killington, VT. with her family and friends. 

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, London Love McGovern; her brother, Evan Leighton, and her sisters Alia Petrucci, Joey Petrucci, Amanda Issler, and Danielle Boyles; her niece, Ava Hagerty; her nephew, Elijah Fisher; her grandmother, JaneAnn Brady; her uncles, Steven Brady and his wife, Diane, and Tony Lee; her aunt Vicky Leighton, and her former partner and London's dad, Jim McGovern, along with several cousins; and her dog, Izzy.

She was preceded in death by her aunts, Erin Brady-Lee and Carla Leighton.

Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, August 31st 4 – 7 PM Foley-Cook New Day Cremation & Funeral Care – 126 S Main St., Attleboro, MA 02703.

A celebration of Chani’s life will be held at a later date.
