Obituary

Charles N. "Charlie" Cataldo, 74, of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Brennan) Cataldo with whom he shared 46 wonderful years of marriage.

He was born in Brockton; son of the late Renaldo and Mary (Primavera) Cataldo. Charlie grew up in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. He went on to build a life defined by dedication, craftsmanship, and finding joy in the simple pleasures.

A self-taught and talented woodworker, Charlie was passionate and became well known in his community for his skill and artistry. His hands shaped more than just wood — they built memories, homes, and lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to know him.

Charlie's happy place was aboard his beloved boat, the "Rusty Skippa", which saw many cherished fishing trips to Block Island, Buzzard's Bay, and everywhere in between.

Charlie was also a coach, and an avid fan of sports. He spent over a decade coaching youth baseball and youth basketball in Attleboro. In addition to coaching, he enjoyed traveling the country with his daughter and assisting at all of her track meets. He looked forward to playing pickleball on Monday nights at Good News Bible Chapel, and he loved spending a nice day on the golf course with some of his closest friends. These gatherings were more than games to Charlie — they were moments of camaraderie that brought him great joy.

Charlie also loved his road trips to Florida for relaxing getaways and never passed up the chance to indulge in one of his favorite sweet treats from Allie's Donuts in Rhode Island. Above all, Charlie enjoyed sharing the things he loved with his most cherished family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Kathleen, Charlie is survived by his son, Nicholas Cataldo; his daughter, Katie Amore and her husband Nick; his granddaughter Zoe Cataldo; his siblings, Linda Andrade, Stella Price and her husband Bob, Mary Driscoll, and Renaldo "Ren" Cataldo and his wife Midge; his loyal dog Miley, along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family, and friends.
