NEW BEDFORD - Charlotte Cathcart of New Bedford, passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 83.

Charlotte was born in New Bedford to Florence Vaughan and James Kershaw. Charlotte cared a great deal for others, spending many years as a licensed practical nurse.

Charlotte's memory will be kept alive by her siblings Joanne Suprenant, Geraldine Kuss, James Kershaw, and Steven Vaughan; her grandchildren Bethany Coelho and her husband Tony of New Bedford, Joshua Mendes, Kiefer Daumont, and Christian Daumont, her great grandchildren Mykayla Quinones, Isaiah Dudley, Jaelyn Dudley, Eligah Dudley, Ethan Mendes, Londyn Daumont, and Joah Daumont and her great great grandchildren Daniel "CJ" Baez and Alaiyjah Dudley. She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Vaughan and her daughters Kathleen G. Lipsett and Cheralyn Daumont.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 24th from 4pm-7pm with prayers starting at 6:30pm by Pastor Joe Britto in the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County St, New Bedford. The family invites you to join them after the service at 7:30pm at Redeeming Family Church, 167 Jefferson St, New Bedford, MA 02746 for food and to celebrate Charlotte's memory.
