Constance Laura (Frenier) Vincent, 104, of Attleboro, died on May 23, 2026 at The Lifecare Center of Attleboro.
Constance was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on February 1, 1922, to the late Edwidge (Theroux) Frenier and Henry A. Frenier, both formerly of Attleboro. She was raised and educated in the Hebronville section of Attleboro and graduated with honors from Attleboro High School in 1940.
On January 31, 1942, she married Alban E. Vincent, shortly before he began serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Constance worked at Balfour before moving to Texas, where their first child was born at the Corpus Christi Naval Base. She and her husband later returned to Massachusetts, living in Rehoboth, then Hebronville, and finally settling in Attleboro, where they raised their seven children.
A devoted parishioner of Holy Ghost Church, now St. John the Evangelist Parish, for more than 70 years, Connie will be remembered for her warm heart and the respect and kindness she showed to everyone she met. She was a member of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate, served as a Eucharistic Minister for more than 20 years, and was also a Girl Scout leader. She generously dedicated her time to her parish by baking, transporting elders to Mass, and visiting the elderly.
Through her husband, Connie developed a lifelong love of sports and became an enthusiastic fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics. She had an impressive knowledge of team statistics and often won family sports pools. She faithfully attended many of her children’s and grandchildren’s games and activities, always cheering them on. Connie and her husband also spent many happy years camping, visiting family, and caring for their grandchildren, reflecting their deep and enduring love for family.
Constance is survived by her sister, Pauline Macomber of Attleboro, and was predeceased by her sisters Adele Wagle, Venita Lavoie, and Leona Frenier, all of Attleboro. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Carole A. O’Neill of Taunton, in 2010.
She is survived by her children: Edward Vincent and his wife, Barbara, of Medway; Paul Vincent and his wife, Sally, of Plainville; Joan (Vincent) Hughes of Attleboro; Brian Vincent and his wife, Ruselda, of Pawtucket; Joyce (Vincent) LeBeau and her husband, Richard, of Attleboro; and Sherry (Vincent) Hughett and her husband, David, of East Providence. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, including the late Christopher P. O’Neill of Taunton, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and respected by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family would like to thank the Lifecare Center of Attleboro for all the care and support provided to Connie.
