Cristina M. Adrega, 81, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on October 24, 2023. She was the loving wife of Antonio L. Adrega, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

Cristina was born in Sandomil, Portugal and was the daughter of the late Jose M. Figueiredo and Rita (Gouveia) Figueiredo.

Mrs. Adrega was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fairhaven and volunteered for many years at Our Lady's Haven alongside her husband. Cristina was employed in many fields throughout her life. She worked as a school teacher, lab tech, insurance agent, and most recently as an electrologist. She enjoyed crocheting, tending to her garden and spending time at her home surrounded by the beauty of nature. Most of all, faith and family came above all else for Cristina and she cherished the time she spent with her loved ones, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter, Paula Faria and her husband Robert of East Providence, RI; grandchildren, Nicholas Faria and his wife Brittany of NY, Timothy Faria of OH and Andrew Faria of NY; brother, Antonio Figueiredo and his wife Manuela of Portugal; niece, Suzanna and nephew, Antonio Jose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cristina's funeral mass on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, 74 Spring St., Fairhaven. Please arrive to the church NO LATER THAN 9:45am.

Burial services will be held privately.
