David T Lyons, 67, of Plainville MA passed away peacefully after a brief illness. David was born to the late David T Lyons jr. and Ann D Murphy (O'Rourke) in Arlington, MA.

David attended Sacred Heart Juniorate, Arlington High School, and Northeastern University. He worked as a Programmer mainly in the Insurance industry.

David was a dedicated and loving father to his children. He was married for 30 years to Jill D Lyons (Leifer) and was a father to David T Lyons of Goochland, VA and the late Jeff D Lyons. David's family also includes his Irish twin brother Daniel R Lyons of Boxborough, MA, sister Beth E Rabasco of Belchertown, MA, sister Ann D Murphy of Wilmington, MA and Shamus Murphy of Derry, NH. Sean E Mulhall of Wareham MA is also considered a brother.

Dave had many good friends. He had a heart of gold, an uncanny sense of humor, and was considered a bit of a sports nut.

In honor of Dave's wishes, he was cremated. His memorial service will be Saturday, February 14 from 1 - 4 PM in the Foley Cook New Day Cremation and Funeral Care. 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
