Debra S. Bissonnette, 74 of New Bedford left us peacefully, with her
closest loved ones by her side Monday, February 17, 2025 at St. Luke's in New
Bedford.
Debra will always be remembered for her kind, loving and generous heart.
She is survived by her partner and best friend of 26 years, Leslie Lopes (and her
children, Tammy and Jody); her nephew, Lee Bissonnette his wife Paula and their
daughters Ava and Carly of Fairhaven and cousin, Susie Mcinerny and family of NC.
She was predeceased by her brother, Jay Bissonnette and his wife Marilyn.
In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and a celebration of Debra's life will
be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Donaghy New Day Cremation and
Funeral Care, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
