NEW BEDFORD - Dennis William Clark Sr., 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024 at home.

Dennis was born in Taunton, son of Earl Clark and Priscilla (Jones) Clark. He spent most of his life in Acushnet and New Bedford.

Dennis worked as a cranberry harvester. Later, he turned his hobby into becoming an auto technician. He worked at Cody and Tobin Scrap Metal. He also enjoyed repairing motorcycles and selling them. Dennis loved to work with his hands, and putting together models was one of his pastimes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, puppy Poppi and dog Jack.

Dennis is survived by his children Dennis Clark Jr and his wife Tricia, Tiffany Rego and her husband Scott, and Dawn Clark all of New Bedford; and his grandchildren Jaedyn Clark, Austin Blanchette, Collin Goodwin, Liam Rego, Dylan Rego, Brady Rego, and Elijah Rego. He is also survived by his siblings Kenny Clark of Piedmont, SC, Pauline Braley of New Bedford, Elaine Babineau of Wareham, David Clark of Freetown, and Marlene Bourque of Seekonk. Dennis is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Adeline (Rezendes) Clark, his parents Earl Clark and Priscilla (Jones) Clark, and his siblings Leona Kimball, Donald Clark, Wayne Clark, and Betty O'Brien.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 4-7PM in the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
