NEW BEDFORD-Elaina G. Barros, 40, of New Bedford passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton.& She was the fiancé of Robert King of New Bedford.

Born in Boston, daughter of Palmira (Gomes) Barros of Fall River and the late Antonio A. Barros, she settled in New Bedford in 1991 and was a graduate of New Bedford High School.

She is survived by her mother; her fiancé and his children, Jaquan and Jaydin King both of New Bedford; a sister, Stephanie Barros and her companion Fred Clervoyant of Fall River, three brothers, Antonio Barros, Jr. and his companion Stephanie of Brockton, Nicholas Barros and his wife Erica of Pawtucket, RI and Anthony Barros and his companion Jasmine Lebron of New Bedford; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Elaina was the sister of the late Christopher Barros.

Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm inDonaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County St., New Bedford. Her funeral will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 9:30am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am St. Lawrence Martyr Church, New Bedford.
