Elmer Junior Colon, age 55, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Sonia E. Colon with whom he shared many wonderful years together.

He was born in the Bronx, New York; son of Elmer Colon and Reinalda Rivera. Throughout his life, he was known for his larger-than-life personality and a heart that matched its size. His greatest joy came from being with his family, whom he adored deeply.

In addition to his wife, Elmer is survived by his 1st born who taught him how to be a father Rafael M. Colon and his baby boy/ his companion Angel A. Colon.

Honoring his wishes all services will be held privately.
