Ernest A. "Catfish" Krebs, 52, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, August 19, 2021. He was the husband of Denise Pignataro.

Born in Marlboro, MA, son of Ernest A.A. Krebs, Jr. and Lynne S. (Taylor) Krebs, he was a longtime resident of New Bedford and graduate of New Bedford High School.& Catfish was a motorcycle mechanic and worked at Galley's Motors. He loved motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents of Tennessee; Denise of New Bedford; a daughter, Alyssa Krebs of New Bedford; a son, Tyler Brown of Mckeesport, PA; a granddaughter Elizabeth Brown; a brother, Raynor T. Krebs of NH; sisters, Allison Hassard of Hudson, Alayne Medeiros of New Bedford, Jennifer Sylvia of TN, Kayla Krebs of RI and Cynthia and Christina Sylvia both of New Bedford; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
