WORCESTER - Evelyn Cuadrado, 56, passed away on July 30, 2026. 

She was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico to the late Hipolito Cuadrado and Maria Acosta. For 35 years, she was the foster daughter of John and Maria (Medeiros) Fumo. 

Evelyn worked at Stop & Shop in Fairhaven for 25 years as a bagger. She was a wonderful person loved by many people. Evelyn’s smile would light up a room. 

She is survived by her foster parents John and Maria Fumo; her foster sisters Sandra Verissimo, Jenny Fumo, Shari Souza, and Tina Fumo; sisters Lucy Garcia and Miriam Cuadrado; brothers Eli Cuadrado, Felix Cuadrado, Ray Velasquez, Paquito Velasquez, and Danny Ferrer; loving boyfriend Willie Nickerson; and several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces. 

In addition to her birth parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her sisters Alana Campos and Debbie Cuadrado; and her brother David Campos. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 10am-11am in the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County St, New Bedford with a funeral service at 11am.
