Florence (Sisson) Bryant, 97, of South Dartmouth passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford after a brief illness, not COVID related.& She was the loving wife of the late Alfred O. Bryant.

Born in South Dartmouth, daughter of the late Kendall Church Sisson and Valma Jennie (Jones) Sisson, she was a lifelong resident of the town. Florence was a telephone operator for AT&T and New England Telephone for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Kim Bryant of South Dartmouth; a brother, Kendall C. "Pete" Sisson of Cheshire, MA; a sister, Diane Cambra of North Dartmouth, and many nieces and nephews. Florence was the sister of the late Robert B. and Warren W. Sisson.

The family wishes to thank the valiant nurses and physicians at St. Luke's Hospital's Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, and Bourne Unit, for their compassionate care.

In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and a graveside service will be held at the South Dartmouth Cemetery at a future date.
