Gail M. Greto (Smith), age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul V. Greto with whom she shared 51 years of marriage before his passing in January.

She was born is Norwood and and raised in Dedham; daughter of the late Oliver and Mildred (Noonan) Smith. Gail graduated from Dedham High School before embarking on a dedicated career as a data entry specialist at VH Blackington, where she worked for many years with diligence and pride.

Gail found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a fondness for puzzles and crosswords and rarely missed an episode of her favorite game shows. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren enjoying quiet moments at home and taking trips to Capron Park and Zoo. Her love for her home and family was the heart of her world.

Gail is survived by her three children: Paul Greto Jr. and his wife Rebecca, Brian Greto and his wife Katie, and Mary Ann Greto and her husband Jarred McPeake; her grandchildren Daniel, Brayden, Brian Jr., Juliette, Valerie, Mercedes, Kolton, Tyler, Brianna, and Michaela; her great-grandchildren Jaxson, Lainey, Stella, Jojo, Neveah and Carter. She also leaves behind her siblings Richard Smith, Ronald Smith and Patricia "Cookie" Merlini.

At the request of the family, all services will be held privately.
