WAREHAM-Gladys S. (Heyes) Martin, 79, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Tremont in Wareham after a period of declining health.  She was the wife of the late John Martin.

Born in Acushnet, she was the daughter of the late Ernest L.and Priscilla R. (Haskell) Heyes. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Center in New Bedford.

She is survived by her children, Sirena Neves and Jason Martin and was the mother of the late John John Martin and Lisa Costa;  also survived by 8 grandchildren;  her siblings, Margaret "Peggy" St. John, Eleanor Costa, Rebecca Mullin, Debra Costa, John, Larry, Brian and Jimmy Heyes;  and many nieces and nephews.  Gladys was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest, Stephen, Richard and Bradley Heyes.
