ATTLEBORO-Harold F. Sears, Jr., 93, of Attleboro (Also known as Sonny) passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of 44 years to the late Dorothea E. (Brauchler) Sears.
Born in Attleboro, son of the late Harold F. Sears Sr. and Mary (Ryman) Sears. He was a 1951 graduate of Attleboro High School and served in the US Army during the Korean War. Harold later worked at Texas Instruments in the former Metals & Control department until his retirement in 1977.
He is survived by his four children, Gary D. Sears and his wife Evelyn of Florida, Judy L. Sears and her partner Thomas Clark of Attleboro, Cindy J. Bianchi and her husband Robert A. Bianchi of Pawtucket and Randy J. Sears of Attleboro.
His grandson, Jonathan R. Bianchi and his wife Shannon of New Hampshire. Two Great grandsons, Anthony R and Jonathan V. Bianchi who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his sister Maryellen (Sears) Murphy of Seekonk and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased sister Adelaide and her husband Richard Collette, Brother John and his wife Jacquelyn Sears.
He was predeceased by his daughter in-law, Wendy N. Sears, whom he had a special bond with as she drove him to all his Dr. Appointments.
One of his favorite pastimes was fishing with his son Randy.
