Heidi M. Chace, 44, of East Freetown passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 20, 2023.  She was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Harris H. and Eleanor M. (Pittsley) Chace, and was a lifelong Freetown resident and member of the East Freetown Congregational Christian Church. Heidi graduated from Old Colony Regional Vocational High School where she played basketball. She enjoyed going to fairs and carnivals and loved animals.

She is survived by her daughter Hannah  of East Freetown;  her brother, Heath Chace of East Freetown;   aunts, Pat Westgate and her husband Alfred and Marjorie C. Carrier all of East Freetown;  and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the sister of the late Harris H. Chace, Jr.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 10AM Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the East Freetown Congregational Christian Church followed by interment in the Chace Cemetery.  Arrangements are by the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
