Helen (Raposa) Gallant left us on March 13, 2025 to be with her beloved husband Bill who predeceased her on February 24, 2025. Born in Westport MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Couto) Raposa. She had 5 sisters and 3 brothers and Helen was an identical twin to her sister Ann. She married William Gallant on August 18 1956. Helen and Bill had 5 children, their daughter, Linda & husband Robert D'Agostino from Attleboro and son David & his wife Amy Gallant of Attleboro. Sadly, Helen is predeceased by her 3 sons, William Gallant Jr, John Gallant and Michael Gallant. William and Helen have 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Helen was a very talented and creative artist, who beautifully decorated her house and yard with her handmade creations. In addition, she lovingly made many handcrafted sewn quilts and bedroom ensembles, and many a crafty creation for her children and grandchildren.
She worked for many years at Sadler Brothers, Brooks drug store office, and was a professional seamstress making custom drapes for homes. During her life she and her husband Bill did a lot of traveling around the country and fell in love with Prince Edward Island, Canada where they bought a cottage by the sea, spending summers vacationing with their family. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Services will be together with her beloved husband William who predeceased her, with a small private gathering with her family members at St. John's Cemetery in Attleboro.
