FAIRHAVEN - Irene (De Rego) Pinard of Fairhaven, passed away at the age of 94 on October 6, 2024.

Irene was born in Fairhaven to Manuel and Mary (Rapoza) De Rego. She was a lifelong resident. Irene wore many hats during her career at Our Lady's Haven including housekeeping, activity director, and nurse's aide. She enjoyed reading a good book and gardening. Irene especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her sons, Kenneth Pinard of Fairhaven and Roger Pinard of Lakeville;  her daughter-in-law, Lori Pinard of Fairhaven;  her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three brothers and sister, husband Roger Pinard, and their son Richard Pinard.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 at 12:30PM in Riverside Cemetery, for both Irene and Roger.  Arrangements are by the Donaghy New Day Cremation, 465 County St, New Bedford. For memorial register please visit, www.newdayfunerals.com.
