Jamie K. Prata, age 44 of East Freetown, passed away at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of James Alan Prata and the late Christine E. (Conway) Watkins, step daughter of the late Sheldon Watkins, and beloved wife of Adam Gomes of 13 years. Jamie had a passion for collecting stuffed animals. Her most beloved were Steiff, Vermont Teddy Bears, and Charlie Bears. She also loved her pets and was an ardent animal advocate.& She loved reading, writing, poetry, computers, cars, and the ocean.

Jamie was one of a kind. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed contributing to many charities. She was an amazing wife, daughter, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her father and husband she is survived by her sister Stacey Prata, an aunt, uncle, and two cousins who called her auntie.
