EAST PROVIDENCE-Janet T. Walsh, 89, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2024. She was the wife of the late William Jacques and former wife of the late Robert Walsh.

Mrs. Walsh was a graduate of St. Mary Academy, Bay View in Riverside, RI.  She worked for 35 years with the Paramount Card Company in Central Falls, RI.  She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, spending time with her grandchildren and shopping.  In addition, she was an avid reader and loved to travel.  After retirement Mrs. Walsh traveled with her late husband, Robert, visiting such locales as England, Ireland, the Caribbean, Hawaii and even made a journey to Medjugorje in Yugoslavia.  After her husband Robert had passed, Mrs. Walsh resided in Flagler Beach, FL for 15 years before returning to New England in 2016.

Janet is survived by her children; Lisa Kiefer and her husband Todd of Plainfield, CT; Deborah Laquidara and her husband David of Attleboro, MA and Michael Walsh and his wife Sandra of Cumberland, RI.  Her grandchildren Melissa Conger and her husband Jesse of Cobb, CA; Christopher Dahlbeck and his husband Corey of Attleboro, MA and Nicholas Laquidara of Natick, MA; and great grandchildren Layla and Ronin Conger.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 9-10:30am in the Foley-Cook-New Day Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro.

Prayers will begin at 10:30 in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
