Jay A. Mello 65 peacefully passed away on Friday August 30, 2024. Born and raised in the North end of Fall River t he was the son of Albert C. Mello and the late Dorothea Moniz Mello.
Jay worked in the human services field at Seven Hills Foundation until his illness. He enjoyed being with family and friends, dining out and going to Provincetown.

in addition to his father, he is survived by his partner Robert Marsland, neice Farah Mello and husband Shane Brewer, great nephew Shane Brewer Jr. al of Fal River.
He was the the brother of the late Debra Mello.
Funeral service at St. Bernard's Church in Assonet Friday September 27, at 10:00 AM. Burial to file at Assonet Buial Grounds.
