Jeffrey A. Leary, age 83 of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Born in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Edward and Blanche (Paille) Leary and beloved husband of Marsha (Guyot) Leary of 44 years. Jeffrey was very proud of being a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and worked at Stop & Shop stocking shelves for 50 years. He for the most part was a home body who provided a safe feeling for Marsha but also enjoyed going bowling, golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepdaughters: Michele Blackburn, Leslie Blatchford and Barbara Arruda, sister Jane Hannon and her husband Neal, seven grandchildren and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Sandra Brown.

Calling hours for Jeffrey will take place on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 4-7 PM at the Foley Cook New Day Funeral Home,126 South Main St., Attleboro. His funeral will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 9 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 St. John's Place., Attleboro. Burial to follow at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Rehoboth.
