NEW BEDFORD- Jeremy J. Hotte, Sr., 49 of New Bedford passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.  He was the son of the late George Hotte and Susan (Tavares) Freitas.

Jeremy was born in New Bedford and was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. He was a self employed auto mechanic.  He enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He loved his true friends, he had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his children, Jeremy J. Hotte, Jr. and Jaydin Hotte both of Dartmouth and Jacob Hotte of New Bedford;  his former companion, Jennifer Dacruz and step children, Kamryn Dias and Josiah Dacruz all of New Bedford;  his siblings, Jason Oliver of Dartmouth, Brian Oliver of New Bedford and Marion Hotte of PA and the late Shawn Oliver;  also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
