Jorge S. Andrade, age 73 of New Bedford passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Charlton Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Alice (Costa) Andrade with whom he shared 27 years of marriage

He was born in Lisbon, Portugal. At the age of 18, he proudly joined the Portuguese Army. In 1970, Jorge emigrated to the United States. He worked doing finishing carpentry, he was a hard worker and was a talented craftsman. Jorge loved taking roadtrips around the United States with Alice. He enjoyed playing music, dancing, going to the cafe for an espresso, having lunch with friends, and having family over for visits.

In addition to his wife, Jorge is survived by his daughter Ana Sousa and grandson Alexander Ferreira.
