NEW BEDFORD-Joyce (Telles) Chenette, 80, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford after a brief illness.  She was the wife of the late Robert Chenette.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late James and Hilda (Rodrigues) Telles of Acushnet.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Chenette of New Bedford and her son, Richard Chenette of Fairhaven.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 1-3PM in the Donaghy New Day Cremation and Funeral Care, 465 County Street, New Bedford.  Cremation will follow and a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Lawrence Martyr Church, Thursday May 8, 2025 at 10AM.  Interment will be private.
