Juan Pinto Vega, 75, of New Bedford and formerly of Brockton passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023.& Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, he traveled to the US at the age of 18 dreaming of a better life. With determination and hard work, he later co-owned and operated Pinto Vega Plaster with his twin brother in Brockton, MA for 45 years.

Juan had a heart of gold, always willing to help others. Once retired, he enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, buying scratch tickets, road trips (especially to Foxwoods) and drinking McDonald's coffee. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Juan was the son of the late Pablo Pinto and Ramona Vega and brother to the recently deceased Domingo, his identical twin, Amado Pinto Vega and sister, Callita Vega. He leaves behind two sons, Christopher and Joshua Koloba; his partner, Juanita Rosario Otero; three living siblings, Cano, Miriam and Luisito from Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.
