ATTLEBORO-Judith E. Roy, 87, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on June 17, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Leo R. Roy, Sr., with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage.

Judith was born in Attleboro and was the daughter of the late John Hammond and Catherine (Whiting) Hammond.

Judith grew up in the Old Town section of North Attleboro and was employed for many years as a home health aide, a job she truly enjoyed. Judith was an avid gardener and well known for her beautiful flowers. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with her family. Together they made countless wonderful memories on the Jersey shore where they spent many summers together.

Judith is survived by her children, Ronald Roy of Pawtucket, Donald Roy and his wife Gail of Rehoboth, Kathy Grant and her husband Dan of Seekonk, Timothy Roy of Attleboro, Leo Roy, Jr., of South Attleboro and James Roy and his wife Laurie of Westfield; fourteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren; daughter in law Leanne Roy and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Thomas Roy and sister of the late Richard Hammond.
