Kathleen (Barrett) Arel, 77, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Arel.

Born and raised in Attleboro, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Francis and Rose (St. George) Barrett.

Kathleen found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved camping trips, baking treats that brought smiles to those around her, and visits to the casino for excitement. Known for her warm and welcoming nature, she had a special gift for conversation and made everyone feel at ease in her presence.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Mandy, and her husband, Mark; her cherished grandchildren, Caden and Lillian; along with many dear friends and extended family members.

In addition to her husband and parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her son, Michael Arel Jr.

In accordance with Kathleen's wishes, all services will be held privately.
