Kevin W. Allard Sr., 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026, at his residence in North Dighton. A man of God, simple pleasures, and deep loyalties, Kevin lived a life defined by his upbeat spirit, his relentless work ethic, and a lifelong mission to make everyone around him laugh.
Born and raised in Attleboro, Kevin was the son of the late Robert E. Allard Sr. and Thelma M. (Giles) Allard. For most of his career, he worked as a cable technician, a role that perfectly suited his "go-getter" personality. He was a true handyman who took immense pride in being self-reliant; whether he was managing rental properties or handling home repairs, he was always ready to roll up his sleeves and get the job done.
To his children, Kevin was the "coolest dad." A massive sports fanatic and hockey enthusiast, he raised his family on the excitement of the game. Some of their favorite childhood memories are rooted in fishing trips, games of pool, and evenings gathered around the kitchen table for family card games. Through it all, Kevin was the life of the party, always armed with a joke and an upbeat perspective.
In recent years, as he managed a heart condition, Kevin’s life became more low-key, but he found great peace in the quiet beauty of his home on the river with his faithful dog and companion, Crystal. A man of steady faith, Kevin faced his health challenges with grace and strength. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is now at rest and his period of pain and suffering is over.
He is survived by his son, Kevin W. Allard Jr. of Pawtucket; his daughter, Kelly C. Goodman of Indiana; and his beloved grandchildren, Lillyana and Ethan, who were his absolute pride and joy. He is also survived by his wife, Theresa Allard, and her grandchildren.
Kevin leaves behind his sister, Shirley A. Marchand, and his brother, Christopher M. Allard, both of Attleboro, as well as a circle of lifelong friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert E. Allard Jr.
Services: A private family burial will be held at Newell Burying Ground in South Attleboro, where he will be laid to rest with his parents and brother. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Good News Bible Chapel on June 4th at 2 pm.
