Obituary

Leland D. Gray, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Wallace and Ivy (Fricker) Gray.

He was born in the Albany New York, Leland lived a long and fulfilling life marked by dedication to his country, commitment to his work, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of family and the sea. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Following his military service, Leland embarked on a nearly four-decade-long career at Texas Instruments, where he worked diligently for 39 years before retiring in 1998.

Outside of his professional life, Leland found great joy in being on the water. Sailing was one of his greatest passions, he cherished time spent aboard his boat and especially loved venturing to Block Island. Family gatherings held special meaning for Leland. He delighted in celebrating holidays with loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured by those who shared them with him.

Leland is lovingly remembered by his sister Joyce Gray Baker; his niece and devoted caretaker Ivy Gray; as well as nieces and nephews Mark Baker, Kyle Baker, Cheryl Baker, Scott Baker, and Kevin Gray.

In addition to his parents; Leland was predeceased by his brother David Gray.

Leland will be laid to rest privately in Blackstone Cemetery.
