Obituary

Linda Ann Berndt, age 78, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Faith & Family Hospice on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

Linda was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island; daughter of the late Allen Berndt, Sr., and Natalie (Harvey) Bebeau. Linda grew up in Attleboro and graduated from Attleboro High School with the class of 1964. Linda loved the ocean. Beach time, boating and scuba diving is where she was most happy. Linda's baked stuffed lobster, potato salad and Thanksgiving stuffing were family favorites, and her recipes will live on for generations. Linda was an avid music lover and an amazing dancer. Along with best friends Zita and Cathy, Linda made her way to nearly the front row of a Beatles concert in 1964 where they screamed, jumped and fell in love with Paul, John, George and Ringo. Linda will be remembered as an independent woman who was fun, generous and absolutely hilarious.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle Schumacher and her husband Stefan; her daughter in law Roberta Kelly; her stepsons Russ Titus and his husband Al, and Greg Titus; her sister Nancy Berndt and her husband Mark Beland; her brother-in-law Edward Urquhart; her grandchildren Guthrie and Hans Schumacher and Carissa Kelly; her nieces Kim Uttermann, Derek and Danielle Vanesse, Kristen Barber and Jennifer Berndt. Linda is survived by several great nieces and nephew and her beloved furry friends Shelby and Sara.

In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by her friend and life partner John Pellitier; her stepfather Edward Bebeau; her son Michael Titus; her siblings Barbara Urquhart, Allen Berndt, Jr and his wife Ann and her grandson Cameron Titus.
