SEEKONK-Louis B. Delano, 92, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2024.

He was the loving husband of Elaine L. (George) Delano, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Louis was born in New Bedford and was the son of the late Merton Delano and Florence (Tourigny) Delano.

Mr. Delano Served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean War and was employed for many years in manufacturing. He was an avid golfer most of his life and enjoyed the outdoors. Louis was known for always keeping his cars meticulously clean and maintained. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Steven Delano and his wife Lynn of Pawtucket and Jeffrey Delano of CT; grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Trinity, and Brianna Delano and great grandchildren, Xavier, Iverson and Solea.

He was the brother of the late Violet Delano.

Private arrangements are entrusted to the Foley-Cook New Day Funeral Home, Attleboro.
