Louis C. Kuffrey, age 89, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on September 30, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Pauline (Brousseau) Kuffrey, for 63 years.
He was born January 24, 1935 in Central Falls, Rhode Island to the late Latif and Regina (Mousally) Kuffrey. Louis graduated from Central Falls High School in 1954 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Bryant College in 1956. He dedicated 35 years of his career as a Customer Service Manager at Providence Gas Company, where he was respected for his work ethic and leadership.
A man of many interests, Louis enjoyed cooking, visiting casinos, and dining out. He was also an avid New England sports fan. Above all, Louis was a cherished family man; holiday gatherings with his family brought him the most joy, especially time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline (Brousseau) Kuffrey; his children, Marc Kuffrey of Cumberland, RI, Russell Kuffrey and his wife Penny of Attleboro, MA, Renee MacPherson and her husband Ed of Attleboro, MA, and Denise Nicolas and her husband Stephen of Attleboro, MA. His siblings; Alberta Mardo of Pawtucket, RI, and Joseph Kuffrey of Seekonk, MA. His grandchildren; Jared Kuffrey, Aaron Kuffrey, Sierra Kuffrey, Nathan Kuffrey, Derek Kuffrey, Jeanine Spinetto, Justin Nicolas and four great-grandchildren.
Louis was preceded in death by his siblings, George Kuffrey, Josephine Robinson, Mary Baldo, Antoinette Kuffrey, and Anthony Kuffrey.
On behalf of the Kuffrey family we would like to extend our gratitude to Hope Hospice, for all of the exemplary care they gave to Louis, and the family in their time of need.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 7th, at 10:30am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 385 Central Avenue, Seekonk. Kindly to gather at church. Burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Attleboro, MA.
