Dartmouth- Luis A. Morales Reyes, 55, passed away on July 13, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with illness. He was the loving husband of Nilsa Feliciano

Luis was born in Loiza, Puerto Rico and was the son of Maria E. Reyes and the late Angel L. Morales.

Luis was employed as a constable for the city of New Bedford and the Town of Dartmouth for several years and also worked in construction for many years. He loved all things sports and enjoyed playing baseball and target shooting, He was a die hard Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan for many years. Luis also enjoyed traveling to local car shows and relaxing with an ice cold Coca-Cola Freezy. Most of all, he was a dedicated husband and father, who cherished the time he spent with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Eric Morales, Felix Riveira, Irene Torres and Zulma (Morales) Brito.; siblings, Jaime and Elizabeth Morales; fifteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4-7pm in the Donaghy-New Day Funeral Home, 465 County St., New Bedford.

Prayers will begin at 6pm in the funeral home.
