Manuel E. Paredes, 90, of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Albania M. Tejeda Paredes with whom he shared 6 years of marriage.

He was born in Bani, Dominican Republic; son of the late Manuel Pimental and Maria De La Cruz.

He enjoyed spending his days surrounded by his family and friends, here as well as back home in Dominican Republic. He was loved by everyone he met.

In addition to his wife, Albania, Manuel is survived by his children, Dilcia, Barbie, Claribel, Dignorah, Vitalina, Enmanuel and Damaris. His siblings, Yolanda and Marina as well as his 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 4-7pm in the Donaghy New-Day Funeral Home, 465 County St., New Bedford.

In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that any memorial contributions be made to his wife, Albania M. Tejeda Paredes.
