Obituary

Marc Panasuk, 61, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on July 1 after a four-year battle with multiple myeloma.

"Courageous" doesn't even begin to cover the final few years of Marc's life. He fought to stay strong for his family, never complaining, always cracking jokes right up to the very end. That was the kind of energy that carried through every part of his life: steady, loyal, sharp, and always making people laugh.

Marc was a husband, father, former baseball coach, and fantastic home chef. A man of few words, he never needed a spotlight, he just showed up, every single day, for the people he loved.

A graduate of Randolph High and a former baseball player at the University of Tampa, Marc spent many years coaching Attleboro Youth Baseball and found joy spending time with good friends especially his golf league buddies.

He was married to his wife Joanne for 33 years.  Together, they built a family grounded in love, humor, and home-cooked meals. He showed his love through food, patience, and an unwavering presence in his family's lives.

He loved the ocean and believed in the power of good food, music and long drives exploring new destinations. He was a loyal fan of the Patriots and Red Sox, an incredibly average golfer, and a great dad every single day.

Marc is survived by his wife Joanne Panasuk, his children (Courtney Panasuk and Trevor Panasuk), his mother Phyllis Dillon, his stepfather Bill Dillon, his brothers Jonathan and Stuart Panasuk and stepsister Nancy Dillon.  He was preceded in death by his father, Sava Panasuk.

In lieu of flowers, please take a day this summer to explore a seaside New England town and enjoy a meal by the water in memory of Marc. No formal service will be held, but if he crosses your mind, whether it's during a good meal, a better joke, or a quiet moment with those you love, we hope you'll keep him there.
