Marcia
Miller
d. Jun 24, 2026
ATTLEBORO - Marcia Miller, age 76, passed away on June 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife to Chris Miller and cherished mother to Meghan Miller. She was the daughter of the later Arthur and Audrey Chase.
She graduated from Boston University School of Nursing in 1976. She worked many places, but she loved doing psychiatric nursing for AEI, May Institute and CCBC. Marcia found her calling when she got a job teaching nursing students at South Eastern Regional at night and Visiting Nursing for Peace and Harmony on the weekends. She worked until the day she fell ill. Marcia loved being a nurse and caring for other people.
Besides nursing, she loved sports - especially the Red Sox and Baker Mayfield. Marcia loved working in her rock garden every year - each year trying to make it better than the year before. She enjoyed the beach, reading, Royal Match, crossword puzzles and having a glass of wine. Although shy, she was quick with a joke or talking NSBS. Marcia loved a lot of things, but the one thing she loved more than anything was her family.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Lauralee Chase, the beloved Auntie “M” to nieces Samantha Chase and Hannah Chase, nephew Cameron Chase and great-nephew Clayton Harris, and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, close friends and family. She is preceded in death by her loving brother Arthur Chase, Jr.
There will be no services at this time - a private burial and celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Marcia’s memory.
She would, above all else, want for you to not grieve her, but to celebrate the person she was and the love she had for all of you.
Mom was more than these few paragraphs, she was a novel that will never be finished - it will be continue to write itself in all of us! xoxo Meg
