Obituary

ATTLEBORO- Mary A. Chamberlain, 81, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.  She was the loving wife of Ronald O. Chamberlain.

Mary was born in Lynn and was the daughter of the late Conrad Maigret and Anita (Reilly) Maigret.

Mary was a 1963 graduate of Attleboro High School and was employed for several at the Attleboro YMCA in Child Care and was also very involved in the Attleboro Special Needs program, a job she truly enjoyed. Mary loved to camp with her family and friends on Cape Cod in the summer and hosting annual family gatherings.  She was a devoted wife and mother who spent most of her life raising her four children and instilling good family values. Throughout her final years, Mary always kept a positive and cheerful attitude and outlook on life. She was a fighter through it all and her family will miss her spirit smiles and cheerfulness. Mary accomplished all of the above with determination and grace despite the fact she fought many health issues throughout her life.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Kathleen Smith and her husband James of North Attleboro, James Chamberlain of North Attleboro and Maureen Teixeira and her husband Victor of Pawtucket; siblings, Robert Maigret Jeanne Potuchek and Ann Marie Plath and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was the mother of the late John, Stephen and Donald Chamberlain and sister of the late Steve Maigret.
