Obituary

SOUTH ATTLEBORO- Mawaheb Iskarous, 95, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on November 16, 2025. She was the wife of the late Salah Adib, an international air traffic controller.

Mawaheb was born in Cairo, Egypt and was the daughter of the Nagib Iskarous and his wife Linda.

Mrs. Iskarous was employed for many years as a schoolteacher in Egypt before joining her son in the United States in 1988. She was a resident of Massachusetts since 1990. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed, sewing, crochet and watching movies. Mawaheb led an active lifestyle and was well known for her wonderful sense of style and fashion. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son Nady Adib, a retired State of Massachusetts employee and his wife Sofia of South Attleboro; sibling, Edes Iskarous of Egypt and granddaughter Angela Smiliotopoulos.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Foley-Cook New Day Funeral Home of Attleboro.
