Micheline Pauline (Mercier) Martin, age 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2026, at LifeCare in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Martin with whom she shared 33 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 1999.

She was born in Montreal, Canada; daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jeanne (Pepin) Mercier. Micheline later made her home in the United States after moving there in 1963. In 1966, she married Donald.

Micheline was a wonderful mother and a devoted wife whose life was also marked by her care for others. For many years, she opened her home to various foster children, offering them a place within her family life. In later years, she enjoyed spending time at Seekonk Speedway watching the races and also found pleasure in fishing.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Tellier and her husband Keith; her sons, Jay Martin and his wife Lori and Bernard O'Reilly; her grandchildren Ashley Richards, Abby Tellier, Kyle Martin, and Aaron Martin; her great-granddaughter Ellie Richards and her sister, Arlene Liebich.

She was predeceased by her husband Donald Martin and by her brothers Roger Mercier and Richard Mercier.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 4-7pm in the Foley-Cook New Day Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 16th in Foley-Cook New Day Funeral Home, with a service beginning at 11am in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.
