NEW BEDFORD - Miguel Tirado, 72, of New Bedford passed away peacefully Saturday, July 6, 2024 at home after a long illness.  He was the husband of the late Liduvina (Rodriguez) Tirado.

Born in Puerto Rico, Miguel settled in New Bedford many years ago.  He most recently worked as a security guard for Baycoast bank in New Bedford.

He is survived by his children, Mario Tirado and his wife Ashleane, Melvin Tirado and Waleska Tirado.  He was the father of the late Miguel Tirado, Jr.  Also survived by his grandchildren, Marielys, Jaidalys, Annalise, Anaya and Anastasia.
