DARTMOUTH- Patricia A. Barry, 82, passed away on October 1, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Robert A. Barry.

Patricia was born in New Bedford and was the daughter of the late Malcom Costa and Yvette (LeMay) Costa.

Mrs. Barry resided in Dartmouth, MA and Sarasota,FL. For several years she was the owner and operator of Nu To U Consignment Store located in Fairhaven.  She was a devoted wife and caregiver to her family and cherished the moments she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Barry enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch and crochet and was always talented with her hands. Above all else her faith and family came first as well as a true passion and love for animals.

Patricia is survived by her children, Michael Luiz and his wife Tammy of New Bedford and Darlene Trojak and her husband William of Dartmouth; siblings, RaeElaine Souza of New Bedford and DonnaLynne Ballou and her husband Alan of Maine; grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Brianna, Ariel, Tara and Nicole; great grandchildren, Hayden, Owen, Landon, Logan, Madison, William, Noah, Ryan and Molly and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Alan Luiz and sister of the late Dana Costa.Private arrangements entrusted to the Donaghy-New Day Funeral Home, New Bedford.
