Patricia "Pat" Alice (Silva) Pelletier, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Pelletier, with whom she shared over 48 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2012.
She was born in Taunton; daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Ferris) Silva. She was a woman of warmth and compassion who brought joy to all who knew her. Pat had a zest for life and a love for simple pleasures. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and later found joy in bowling, bingo, card games, and trips to the casino. Known for her culinary skills, she made the best Portuguese soup—a favorite among her family. Pat also dedicated many years as a volunteer at La Salette Shrine, embodying her caring and selfless nature.
Pat is survived by her children, Sherrie Pelletier and her partner Kenneth Ross, and Paul Pelletier Jr. and his wife Amy; her brother Francis Silva; her grandchildren April Kalinga, Tiffany Marshall, Logan Higgins, Emily Coburn, and Katelyn Pelletier; and her great-grandchildren Abigail, Kenzy, Rheann, Avery, Anngeli, and a baby girl expected in June. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and her sweet pup, Barkley.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pat was predeceased by her siblings James Silva, Robert Silva, and Delores Balas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 4-7pmin the Foley-Cook New Day Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 9:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 St John's Pl. Attleboro, Kindly meet at church.
